We have some pretty cool hardware in the Psychology Department at Washington College.  In fact, its unusual for a small College to have so much equipment (many large Universities have less hardware than we do).  The key issue is not whether a department is equipped with modern scientific instrumentation, but whether or not undergraduates are permitted to use the equipment.  Here at Washington College, Psychology majors are welcome to learn how to use modern scientific equipment to understand important scientific and clinical issues.

Here are just a few examples.

EEG

Eye movement

Cognitive Hemodynamics via Transcranial Doppler

Cognitive Research

BAL/BAC testing

Biofeedback

animal testing

mazes

neuropsychological testing
